Bar Joe occupies a corner of Spoonfed, a restaurant in the Hollywood Media District of Los Angeles. It was pitched as a comfortable stop for people who enjoy a daytime drink and for people who mostly want good coffee.

A bar made for daylight
The room is bright, and the drinks list was designed to match. Beverage director John Neumueller kept the wine and beer selection short and carefully chosen, then added playful variations on classic daytime drinks and a long section for guests who prefer to skip alcohol. The result is a place where a person can linger over a morning coffee or settle in for an afternoon cocktail without the room changing character.
What is on offer
- Cocktails, from familiar brunch standards to more unusual house creations. See the full drinks overview.
- Wine and beer, including sparkling, white, rosé and red wines and a rotating draft list.
- Non-alcoholic drinks such as tonics, herbal syrups, tea-based sodas and fresh lemonade.

Food at the bar
Bar Joe serves the same guests as the main restaurant, from brunch through to the late-afternoon happy hour. Table service runs all day in the dining room and on the patio, and people sitting at the bar can order anything from the wider kitchen menu. The breakfast and lunch and dinner pages describe those dishes.

Setting
Bar Joe sits inside the restaurant at the corner of Seward Street and Romaine Street. Visitors planning a trip should check the restaurant’s current official channels for opening times and parking details, as these may have changed since the archived snapshot.
